ARJAAN by Rotana, Dubai welcomed the inauguration of the Dubai Tram on November 11.
In general manager Mark McCarthy words to TTN, “We saw a lot of constructions around our hotel these past few years, especially in front of our hotel on Al Sufouh Road, where the tram track lies, but it was worthwhile.”

The 10.6 km track will cover the area of Dubai Knowledge Village, Dubai Media City, Dubai Internet City, Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Beach Residences (JBR) and Al Sufouh Road with 11 stations. “The nearest station to Arjaan by Rotana, Dubai is Media City (Station 8) and our guests only need to take a few steps from the hotel’s main entrance to reach the station.” Nol cards (travel cards for using public transport in Dubai) are also made available for guests to be purchase at the hotel. “This new mode of transport will definitely transform the area, making it a breeze for our guests to be able to take a short ride to the restaurants, cafes, malls, to the marina or to the beach at JBR.” This marks the completion of Dubai Tram’s phase one, phase two expansion by next year will cover more areas, connecting with the Dubai Metro station at Mall of the Emirates in Al Barsha.“We are ecstatic to be part of this new development. The tram will be a selling point for us to attract potential guests to stay with us,” he tells TTN.
