El Behi … promoting the extended-stay brand

MANAGEMENT from the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Dubai, JBR, will be exhibiting on the Wyndham Hotel Group stand at Arabian Travel Market (ATM), offering both regional and international travel trade an opportunity to learn more about the brand, which has begun international expansion outside the US with properties in Nigeria and now the Middle East.

Open just six months, the extended-stay 188-unit hotel has a sought-after location in Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) between the beach and Dubai Marina, and offers spacious rooms, one- and two-bedroom suites and a panoramic penthouse, all of which have kitchenettes to accommodate in-room dining.

Other features of the property include an all-day restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, coffee shop, 24-hour room service, outdoor swimming pool, spa with dedicated areas for men and women, hi-tech gym, two meeting rooms with capacity for up to 60, free wireless internet access and parking, plus on-site convenience store.

According to general manager Wael El Behi, the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Dubai, JBR, is a new name to many travel professionals, but the brand concept is one that is ideally suited to both regional and international visitors to Dubai.

“The mix of residential style living with superior hotel facilities appeals to family groups, such as those from the GCC and Indian sub-continent, as well as longer-stay travellers from farther afield who favour the independence inherent in the extended-stay brand,” he says.

“Coupled with a location in JBR, which is alive with an extension range of cafes, restaurants and increasing entertainment and shopping options, the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Dubai, JBR will be a valuable addition to the beachfront hotel inventory in Dubai, and one we expect to be well received by the travel trade at ATM.”

The Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Dubai, JBR, is owned by R Hotels, a subsidiary of Ajman-based R Holding, which also operates the Ramada Hotels & Suites Ajman, Ramada Beach Hotel Ajman and the Ramada Downtown Dubai.
