Belmond Sanctuary Lodge is the only hotel located next to the Machu Picchu citadel. All remaining hotels are positioned about four kilometres away in the nearest town Aguas Calientes. A variety of group and personal tours can be arranged to guide visitors through the citadel. These tours can be arranged, pre-visit or on the day at the entry gates.
