The holy month of Ramadan is a chance to spend time with family and friends and to make this year’s Ramadan extra special, Six Senses Zighy Bay in Oman has created the Ramadan Kareem Package, which combines cultural activities and delicious cuisine for a memorable and authentic celebration.

The Ramadan Kareem Package includes daily breakfast in Spice Market or Suhour in the villa, daily Iftar in Spice Market, access to Suhour Khaimat Ramdan (Ramadan Tent), access to tennis, pétanque and beach volleyball courts, laundry pressing on arrival, up to two pieces per person, complimentary use of non-motorised water sports, access to steam, sauna, ice cave and fitness centre and a departure gift.

The package is priced at $539++ per night, based on two adults, and $35 for a child or $100 for an adult supplement. The promotion is valid on bookings between July 7 and August 6, 2013.

For an extra indulgence, guests can indulge in a ‘Beauty of Ramadan’ package at the resort’s award-winning spa. Priced at $253 for a relaxing two and a half hours, the treatment is available only during Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr.

The resort comes alive over Eid Al Fitr, with a weekly schedule including Eid Al Fitr barbecues and buffets by the wadi featuring seafood selections from the rich waters of the Musandam, and a dedicated children and teen programme including activities such as archery lessons, goat feeding with clippings from the organic garden and wake-boarding lessons. The Ramadan tent will also be available until the third night of Eid Al Fitr,. Villas start from $720++ per night for two people, including breakfast.
