The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh in Saudi Arabia was recognised for its contribution to the Saudi tourism industry with two awards at the inaugural Saudi Excellence in Tourism Awards. The hotel was awarded the Best Five Star Hotel and Best Community Program.  Collecting their awards was general manager Jean-Francois Laurent, and executive assistant manager, rooms division.
