Mövenpick expands in Asia

MÖVENPICK Hotels & Resorts has signed two new hotels in China and Thailand. The hotel company will open a new beach resort in Hua Hin, Thailand and a 250-rooom hotel in Enshi City, China. By 2015, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts will have four properties open in China: the upcoming hotel in Enshi; a 380-room resort on Phoenix Island, Sanya; a 350-room property in Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, and a 300-room hotel in Jiading, Shanghai. Within three years, the company will also be operating eight hotels in Thailand with two in Chiang Mai and one each in Koh Samui, Bangkok and Pattaya in addition to the new signing, the 190-room Mövenpick Resort & Spa, Hua Hin.

 

Kids eat free at Salalah Marriott

THE Salalah Marriott Resort in Mirbat, Oman has rolled out its “Experience Kids Eat Free Promotion’ in line to their Family Package. The special package valid until June 30, 2013, offers a two night stay in a two bedroom Chalet with Marriott style luxurious breakfast. Kids are offered free meals from the Kids Menu, prepared keeping in mind the Kids favorite food as well as health benefits, while the parents dine for lunch or dinner at the Sumhuram Restaurant. In addition, the guests booking the package are offered complimentary access to Oman’s largest swimming pool, beach, health club and spa.

 

Ritz-Carlton offers Asprey amenities

GUESTS of Ritz-Carlton properties around the world now have the pleasure of using Asprey Purple Water amenities in the guestrooms, through a new alliance between the two legendary luxury brands. The Asprey bath and body range features their signature scent, Purple Water, whose amenities will be available in Ritz-Carlton guest rooms and suites.
The striking new collection of purple jacquard print tubes has been specially designed to add a final touch of luxury to Ritz-Carlton bathrooms across the globe.

 

Hilton debuts in Sharjah

HILTON Worldwide announced the opening of Hilton Sharjah, the company’s 11th branded hotel in the UAE and its first in the Emirate of Sharjah. The 259-room Hilton Sharjah, a conversion property previously known as Corniche Al Buhaira Hotel is ideally positioned on the picturesque Corniche Road. The hotel offer guests a wealth of leisure amenities including three swimming pools, state of the art health club with Hilton Precor Fitness Center, two inviting restaurants, a comfortable lobby lounge and a café. The hotel will also support the active and growing business community with seven meeting rooms, a business centre and the city’s premiere ballroom with a capacity of 500.
