Ramee Group turns to luxury

The Ramee Grand Hotel & Spa has announced a new five-star offering in Bahrain with more plans across the GCC. Having perfected the winning formula in the mid-segment hotel market, Ramee’s foray into the luxury segment is attracting attention.

“When we decided to enter the luxury segment after over two decades’ experience behind us, we wanted people to spot the difference. We wanted to bring the latest in global luxury concepts to this property,” said Romano.

Its first luxury hotel in Bahrain, the Ramee Grand Hotel & Spa will be the tallest hotels in the Seef district. Offering 166 rooms including one and two-bedroom suites, guests at the hotel will probably have the largest rooms in Bahrain, with an average room size of 46 sq m. In room-frills such as remote-controlled curtains, LED televisions and shaving counters in bathrooms and Bvlgari bath amenities are all meant to spell the ultimate luxury to hotel guests.

“We’re redefining the concept of hospitality by introducing technology-driven solutions that make service efficient and enjoyable for guests staying at the Ramee Grand Hotel & Spa,” promises Romano.

For instance, the hotel will not deliver newspapers manually to guests in rooms but will allow for guests to access them online via on the interactive LED televisions in their rooms.

The pièce de résistance, however, is Ruka, its Japanese fusion restaurant and lounge on the 24th floor that offers breathtaking sea views all around. The lounge is exclusively serviced by a high-speed elevator that will have only one stop.

The group has plans to announce more luxury hotels across Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the coming year.
