Traders Hotel Dubai celebrate eight years

The Traders Hotel, Dubai recently celebrated its eighth anniversary.  The hotel opened its doors for its first guest back in 2004.

The opening of Traders Hotel, Dubai in 2004 marked the debut of the Traders brand in the Middle East region by Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts.  Since then, it has evolved from a hotel that caters to mainly business travellers and meeting, incentive, conference and exhibition (Mice) participants to include leisure travellers and group business because of its close proximity to Dubai International Airport and major shopping malls.  Accessibility to the hotel was enhanced with the opening of the Green Line Dubai Metro last year.  This boosted its strategic location and position as the market leader in Deira.

“Our success these eight years is mainly due to the commitment and professionalism of our members of staff.  In a city where the main focus is in five-star luxury properties, the Traders brand stands out for its outstanding service.  This could have only been possible with our highly professional team, where service from the heart and delighting guests are the mantra of the day,” said Stephan Kapek, the hotel’s general manager.

In celebrating this significant milestone, Traders Hotel, Dubai has invited its loyal guests to the hotel for a reception and cake-cutting ceremony, followed by a luncheon in The Junction Restaurant.

“We owe our success to our loyal and repeat clients, who have shown us tremendous support all these years.  As such, this celebration is as much for them as it is for us,” said Mohamed Taher, the hotel’s director of sales and marketing.
