A fresh new look is paying dividends at the Coral Boutique Hotel Apartments Al Barsha – Dubai, according to general manager Salim Touma.
“Our recent hotel renovation has resulted in an essential and profitable base of business which we can top up with seasonal promotions and tactical marketing,” he said.
The Dh2.5 million ($680,000) refurbishment at the hotel apartments has involved the upgrade of room décor and facilities, enhancement of the Butterfly and Rumours restaurants, a refinement of public areas and included the provision of a new business centre with touchscreen computers, multi sockets, hhigh-speed wired and wireless Internet access and the latest technology including laser printers and scanners.
In addition, the roof-top pool and sundeck has been renovated with tropical-style thatched sun shading and a juice bar, while work is in progress at the Murjan spa with the addition of a terrace garden as well as new equipment and plasma TV screens in the adjacent gym.
Touma said, “We will be showcasing these new facilities during the Arabian Travel Market this year which offers us the perfect opportunity to spread the word among the global travel trade. We want to provide the ultimate convenience and service to business travellers who are one of biggest segments of our business.
“Our USP is going one step farther in fulfilling the needs of our guests, such as installing a new satellite to receive Japanese TV channels in response to the request of one of our long-stay Japanese clients, while for another, we were happy to provide a special mattress to meet her particular health needs.”
