Etihad Airways has announced a new general manager for Germany. Philip Lewin will lead the airline’s German sales and marketing operations. Lewin brings almost twenty years’ experience working in the airline industry, and joins the UAE flag carrier from American Airlines, where he has recently held the position of country manager India.
Since 2004 Etihad Airways has carried more than 1.8 million passengers on its German routes. The airline inaugurated flights to Munich in 2004, Frankfurt in 2006 and Düsseldorf in 2011. All destinations are served by daily flights*, with Frankfurt operating twice a day. Etihad Airways also has its own dedicated first and business class lounges at Frankfurt International Airport.
