InterContinental Cairo Citystars, InterContinental Residence Suites Cairo Citystars, Holiday Inn Cairo Citystars and Staybridge Suites Cairo Citystars, announced the promotion of Khaled Shafik from assistant director of sales and marketing to director of sales and marketing for Citystars hotels. Shafik brings with him over 15 years of academic and professional experience in the hospitality industry, concentrated in the area of sales and marketing, holding many positions throughout these years in many international hotel chains.
Khaled has been with InterContinental Hotels Group since 1995; he gained international experience by working at InterContinental Miami, after that he moved to Semiramis InterContinental and then joined InterContinental Cairo Citystars in 2004 and was part of the Hotel opening team.
