COMMITTED to providing a unique destination experience, Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara has become the first resort in Abu Dhabi to offer iPads to guests allowing them to stay connected in style during their stay. In a trial project using 25 iPads, the property is combining traditional Arabian hospitality with state-of-the art technology, offering the use of an iPad free-of-charge during check-in which can be used at guests’ leisure to book spa treatments and activities, order dishes from the hotel’s restaurants, buy items from the Qasr Al Sarab souk or send special requests to the concierge. In addition, guests can access the hotel’s wireless service to surf the internet as they relax in luxury by the pool or take advantage of the iPad to book an activity from yoga to camel trekking.
