THE first Shaza Hotel has opened its doors in the Holy City Of Al Madinah Al Munawarah, Saudi Arabia.

Shaza Al Madinah is the first of an exclusive family of Shaza hotels which will form a celebration of Eastern hospitality and generosity.

Shaza Al Madinah, operated in partnership with Kempinski, is a five star expression of modernity, created by the world renowned international designer Morten Hansen of LWD Dubai, who envisioned a blissful mix of traditional and modern Arabian aesthetics.

Peaceful, sophisticated and spiritual, each of the 469 rooms and suites are a reflection of the contemporary Eastern character of Shaza tended by international staff.

The property also has fully equipped conference and banquet facilities in its function rooms, as well as other unique amenities being offered for the first time in Madinah such as a Kids’ Club and wellness centre which will be opening soon.

Shaza plans to be the first international five-star hotel chain to draw its inspiration and character entirely from the region. It is a proud expression of Eastern hospitality and has its sights firmly established on being a pioneer and leader in the market.

By 2016, the company aims to operate 25 to 30 hotels in key destinations in the Mena region, as well as the broader Indian subcontinent including the areas of the former Ottoman Empire.

A spokesman said: “Of our initial 25 hotels, a select few will form the Shaza Collection which will feature distinguished properties and prestigious palaces that have a rich history and will, by virtue of the stories attached to them, add depth and meaning to the Shaza brand.”
