Baisan to open new property

Bahrain-based Baisan Hotels Resorts and Suites will be opening its newest property in the kingdom at the end of this year.

The new 220 room four star deluxe boutique hotel will open in the Seef district opposite the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre, the company said.

The group already operates four properties in the kingdom including the Hawar Resort on the Hawar Island which opened in 1997.

Baisan opened its first hotel - the Baisan International Hotel - in Bahrain in 1991. The flagship hotel offers 105 rooms and suites, five food and beverage outlets, swimming pool and fitness centre and banqueting facilities.

In 1997, it opened the Baisan Tower, a four-star property featuring 64 sea view rooms, five F&B outlets, roof top swimming pool and fitness centre, and banqueting facilities.

The same year, it opened the Hawar Resort Hotel offering 44 rooms and suites plus 16 two bedroom furnished luxury apartments. The resort offers a range indoor and outdoor leisure facilities including a private beach and aqua park besides three food and beverage outlets and meetings and function rooms.

The group opened the Elite Hotel in Juffair in 1999 which offers 106, rooms and suites besides other facilities.
