ABU DHABI’S Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC) has announced that the Monte-Carlo Beach Club, Saadiyat, will open in September 2011. Modelled on its 1920s’ counterpart – the famous Monte-Carlo Beach Club – the exclusive club is designed to celebrate fine living, culture, wellbeing and health, reflecting the values and heritage of parent company Monte-Carlo SBM’s sister hotels and clubs in Europe in a uniquely Arabian way. The property is located on Saadiyat Beach, which is set to be Saadiyat’s tourism hotspot. Nestled between two luxury hotel resorts, members and visitors will have direct access to the pristine waters of the Arabian Gulf and the Gary Player-designed Saadiyat Beach Golf Club. The 39,500-sq-m venue will provide the island’s residents and visitors with a range of premium services and facilities. These include a private beach lounge, kids’ area, a stunning outdoor swimming pool and a health and fitness centre. A selection of dining options will also be on offer including Le Deck, a casual dining restaurant serving the best cuisine from the Riviera, Lebanon and the Levant; Sea Lounge, a laid-back venue offering light snacks, and Bubbles, an all-day lounge serving a cooling selection of refreshments. In the evening, the Monte-Carlo Beach Club, Saadiyat, will become a ‘must visit’ evening hotspot for Abu Dhabi, filled with action, buzz and sophisticated entertainment.
