The new Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai has announced the appointment of Scott Butcher as general manager. Butcher was previously director of operations at Panorama Hospitality in Japan overseeing a number of hotels including the Crowne Plaza Kobe and the Ramada Osaka.

Stefan Magiera has been appointed general manager, Middle East for Airberlin. Magiera will be running the airline’s activities in the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar and Oman as well as directing the work undertaken by the local GSA, Oasis Travels. He will continue as GM for Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar.

Hertz car rental has appointed Lisa Munro as partnership sales manager for the Middle East and Africa region. Munro, who has 11 years experience in the automotive industry, joins Hertz from her role as business development manager for LeasePlan Emirates in Abu Dhabi.

Park Hyatt Dubai has appointed Michael Clinton as the hotel’s new executive chef overseeing culinary operations for its six restaurants and bars, catering and in-room dining services. Clinton joins Park Hyatt Dubai from Grand Hyatt Singapore, where he held the position of executive sous chef.
