Hajjar…strengthening position

LAYIA Hospitality  will be taking part in World Travel Market for the second year showcasing its newest properties and those planned to open in the future.

Commenting on the company’s participation, CEO Daniel Hajjar said: “We continue to strengthen our positioning and brand awareness at this industry’s leading travel and tourism exhibition dedicated to supporting and developing the business potential from the UK and international travel professionals.”

Layia Hospitality will be taking part under the auspices of the Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing Department promoting the company’s current portfolio as well as the new properties that will open in the upcoming years.

“Taking into consideration that WTM brings together worldwide buyers and sellers from the travel and tourism industry, our participation at this premier trade fair is to strengthen the awareness and the presence of Layia Hospitality and to support Layia’s expansion plans. This will certainly be achieved through meetings with the major operators within the UK markets,” Hajjar added.

The newest extension to the company’s portfolio was the successful opening of Opal Living Courts in Al Barsha near Mall of the Emirates, Dubai, UAE, in June 2010, the latest property under the Living Courts brand. The opening, although during challenging times, reflects Layia Hospitality’s studied and careful expansion plan to operate properties that are only equally beneficial to owners, clients and its stakeholders. This property is the fourth under the very popular Living Courts brand and comprises 48 stylish and spacious one- and two-bedroom hotel apartments.

One of the big announcements is also the launch of Layia Plaza Hotel, the newest four-star property which will open its doors this month. Situated in close proximity to Dubai International Airport, Layia Plaza Hotel is a warm, comfortable, modern and stylish property offering 232 spacious and modern guest rooms and suites all tastefully and elegantly designed to suit guests seeking privacy, personalised service and quality.

Layia Hospitality is the commercial name of Layia Hotels Management Company, a registered LLC with its headquarters in Dubai. It is a young company with a dynamic vision to transform the hospitality industry. It is Layia’s aim to manage a comprehensive portfolio of properties, to grow and blossom over the years.

The current portfolio consists of 16 properties (five in operation, one expected to open in the coming months and 10 additional ones under various phases but all due to be operational by 2015). Three distinct brands make up the Layia Hospitality portfolio: Layia Hotels, Living Courts and the new budget brand Day & Night Hotels that was recently launched.

Layia Hotels are warm, comfortable, modern and stylish. Each property provides not only efficient business facilities but also takes into consideration the wellness of the guests’ body and soul with spacious, well-designed rooms where the emphasis is on superb quality beds.

Living Courts serviced apartments provide furnished and equipped apartments down to the smallest detail, combining basic hotel services with a self-catering solution.

Day & Night Hotels, the newest brand to be added to the Layia family, is expected to reach a new audience of customers appealing to the trendy, modern and young at heart budget conscious travellers. Located not only in major cities within the Middle East but in secondary cities too, Day & Night Hotels will be second-to-none products in terms of facilities, services, comfort and security.
