Starwood Hotels & Resorts launched its third Road to Awareness campaign with UNICEF to raise money to provide quality education for children in South Africa. This year the team went on a fund-raising bike-ride climbing the Dolomites, a section of the Italian Alps. 

Guido De Wilde, vice president and regional director for Starwood Middle East and one of the pioneers of the initiative, Bojan Kalodjera from Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort and Spa, Dubai and Shivakumar Vaman from Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort, joined a team of 24 cyclists and fundraisers for the arduous three-day journey covering 360km.
