FOLLOWING the success of the Doha Aviation Summit in 2009, the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) and naseba are hosting the 2010 edition from October 30 to November 1 gathering influential international and regional decision makers from across the industry to discuss and decide on the future of aviation.

The three-day summit is held under the patronage of QCAA chairman Abdul Aziz Al Noaimi and will be attended by more than 200 representatives from leading global airports, airlines, civil aviation authorities and government bodies.

Al Noaimi said: “The aviation world has changed significantly over the past few months. With the worst of the economic crisis behind us, now is the perfect time to look to the future. Continuing the theme ‘vision for limitless skies’, this year’s summit will concentrate on opening up opportunities for growth between the Arab states and the international aviation market.”

Nicholas Watson, global sales director for naseba,  added: “The Doha Aviation Summit will draw on the wealth of the Middle East as an aviation superpower moving to the forefront of the industry. We have been working with the QCAA for some time now and once again it’s an absolute privilege to bring together the aviation veterans from across the region to discuss and shape the future of the industry.”
