Ramadan at Zighy Bay

Share

THIS year, the Holy Month of Ramadan falls in the sticky month of August and, regardless of denomination, it offers visitors to the Middle East a perfect opportunity to detox, relax and reflect, while the Eid Al-Fitr celebrations mark the region’s Islamic heritage and cultural diversity.

Where better to contemplate or celebrate than in the sanctuary of Six Senses Zighy Bay? With its tranquil, rustic atmosphere, the luxury eco-resort ‘village’ in the Musandam Peninsula provides the optimum location for a peaceful retreat with family, friends and loved ones.

To celebrate the occasion, Six Senses Zighy Bay is offering two for one room nights during Ramadan itself, alongside a 20 per cent spa discount, a 20 per cent food and beverage discount and free meals for kids under the age of 12. A set Iftar menu will be available together with the normal a la carte alternatives, while guests are also invited to join the dining team in a special Suhour meal (available until 4.30am; pre-booking essential).

GCC residents can celebrate the Eid break with a 30 per cent discount on room rates on bookings made before September 1(terms and conditions apply). Six Senses has six resorts found in some of the most outstanding areas of natural beauty in the world. Famous for their five-star luxury, wonderful organic food, beverages and service, Six Senses properties offer space, privacy and deep comfort, along with core principals of sustainability and environmental support.
Six Senses Zighy Bay is just an hour-and-a-half’s drive from Dubai, nestled beneath an ancient mountain range, shaded by date palms and facing a beautiful private beach.
The Eid offer is also valid at the following resorts:

Six Senses Yao Noi is a private island, 45 minutes’ boat trip from Phuket International Airport and gazing across Phang Nga Bay, one of the best views in Asia, if not the world.
Six Senses Samui has the peace and tranquility of all Six Senses resorts along with the choice of visiting other parts of the bustling island - be it for shopping and restaurants, or coconut groves, rice paddies and forests.
Six Senses Hua Hin is a three-hour drive from Bangkok but the small fishing village feels a million miles away beside the sea, with its manicured gardens and proximity to the King of Thailand’s summer palace.
