HONG Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), in conjunction with Kanoo Travel & Holidays, has launched a GCC-wide seasonal promotion ‘Hong Kong Summer Spectacular’.
The Summer Spectacular programme is part of the Festive Hong Kong 2010 campaign which promises fun-filled events throughout the year.
Utilising the distribution strengths of the two organisations and the regional travel industry, the promotion features some quite spectacular offers for two-centre or through-travel packages including Hong Kong.
A five-night package – inclusive of round-trip economy airfares with Cathay Pacific from the UAE, five nights accommodation with breakfast, private airport hotel transfers, trips to Hong Kong Disney Land and Ocean Park and many other exciting discounts and offers – starts from just Dh6,900 ($1,878) .
And from or via Saudi Arabia prices start from Dh5,450 for a two-centre holiday with three nights in Singapore and three nights in Hong Kong including breakfast, with other attractions and shopping offers available.
This summer the Far East is an exceptional place to go and explore either as a two-centre holiday destination, taking in Hong Kong in its own right, or as a leisure stop-over on the way to mainland China or Australia.
Throughout the summer travellers visiting Hong Kong will be able to take advantage of the very best in entertainment with the colourful Dragon Boat Festival tipped to be the best so far. There is also a major shopping and sales event, the International Arts Carnival, running through July and August, the Lan Kwai Fong food and entertainment festival as well as the Hong Kong Computer and Games Festival.
And even without such special events, Hong Kong is a buzzing destination offering the whole family fun and entertainment, shopping, relaxation and very high standards of hotels.
There is also an understanding of the needs of discerning Middle Eastern travellers, which is why there are no visa restrictions for the majority of the region’s nationals.
Hong Kong has a long history with the Middle East both in trade and leisure and is an ideal destination both in its own right or as a base to explore other areas in the Far East particularly during the Eid Holidays. Whatever you are seeking, Festive Hong Kong 2010 welcomes you.
