THE team at the Ramada Hotel Doha is excited as the extension being added onto the hotel readies for a soft opening later this year.

Work on the new extension began last March and is part of a project that will see the hotel being upgraded to the Ramada Plaza Hotel Doha.
“The Ramada Plaza will be the place to be in Doha,” says a hotel spokesperson. Its final offering will be over 584 guest rooms, including suites, condominiums, themed suites, rooms featuring ‘breath-taking starscapes’ and two royal penthouses. “These stunning rooms in the new wing are themed to evoke the splendour of Japan, India and Arabia,” says the spokesperson. The splash pool will introduce a whole new concept of relaxation to Doha, with underwater mood music.
The new wing also promises to be Doha’s hot new dining destination, hosting six stunning new restaurants and five funky and fantastic new beverage outlets. “Our culinary delights from around the world will satisfy the discerning customer seeking anything from Japanese or Italian cuisine to vegetarian or seafood,” he says.
The hotel’s signature restaurant, Green’s, will offer quality vegetarian cusine aimed at the discerning palate seeking to experience the huge variety available in vegetarian dining.
