Alternative tourism in Bulgaria

FIRST-TIME exhibitor at MTF, Bulgaria, was promoting alternative tourism.

Hristina Beeva, an official from the State Agency for Tourism, said the response was extremely encouraging. “We had a lot of meetings with agents and interacted with visitors and the feedback has been positive,” Beeva said.
“We are keen to promote alternative tourism to Arabs. We can offer lots of winter tourism, spas, golf eco-tourism and city breaks. We know that Arabs stay long and they spend. Our hotels are also aware of the needs of Arabs and their food preferences. We are planning to add direct flights from many of the Arab countries in the future to make it more convenient to travel to Bulgaria.”
