The new Metropolitan Palace Hotel in Beirut is set to become a major landmark of Lebanon's capital with its blend of tradition and innovation offering a world of capital comfort.
Located in the heart of Beirut, the hotel opens its doors this month offering a full range of facilities for business and leisure travellers.
The hotel includes 225 guest rooms, 12 executive suites, two presidential suites and one penthouse.

"Other facilities include individually controlled air-conditioning, direct dial telephones with voice mail, safe deposit box, mini-bar, en-suite bathroom with direct dial telephone, bathtub, bathrobes, express laundry and valet service, 24-hour room service and a full butler service."
The hotel also promises to satisfy the most demanding gourmet with its range of fine dining outlets.
Guests have a choice of Venezia Ristorante Italiano for Italian cuisine or the Summer Palace for Chinese delicacies besides all-day dining at Al Shindagah or a quiet snack and drink at the open-air Terrace, said a hotel spokesman.
The Tea Garden is the place for an evening rendezvous and the Candles Lounge offers a soothing drink in a luxurious yet comfortable environment, the spokesman said.
The Metropolitan is also set to become the place for meetings and conferences in Beirut with its choice of eight meeting rooms and the Dubai Hall grand ballroom.
The hotel offers the audio-visual equipment and a fully-equipped business centre to ensure the success of any meeting.
And after a hectic business day, the hotel has lined up a range of leisure facilities including a tennis court, a gymnasium with state of the art equipment and expert instructors, a swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and steam bath.
