THE spa of The Ritz-Carlton, Doha has come up with just one more good reason to call in and try the variety of therapies on offer.
Not content with encouraging us to get rid of the strain from work – or a bad week at home – they've come up with the idea of using the spa to prepare for a Perfect Date!
'Not only may your readers want to rid themselves of pre-date jitters and ensure they look their best for the big night, but they may also want to ensure they feel their best as well,' a senior executive at the hotel told TTN. 'So we've implemented a 'Perfect Date Package' that includes a gentle natural moisturising rub, with dates, honey and oats to exfoliate and remove dead skin cells, promoting a softer and smoother enriched skin. Finally guests relax with a date and honey release massage to reduce muscle tension, moisturize skin and improve blood circulation. Herb tea is served to complete the wellness experience.'
The package, which costs QR580 per person, lasts for three hours. Afterwards, you can always take advantage of other facilities – such as the jacuzzi or the swimming pool. (The Ritz-Carlton is the only hotel in town to offer both indoor and outdoor pools.) Hey, even if the date doesn't work out, you'll still feel good after all that tender loving care in the spa!
