Billed as Cairo's only hotel with dramatic views of both the Nile and the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Four Seasons Hotel at the First Residence is an integral part of the Egyptian capital's prestigious residential, shopping and casino complex.
The 271 luxurious rooms and suites, the most spacious in the city, are classically styled with 21st-century amenities.
This summer, the hotel is offering special packages starting at $160 per room per night until August 31.
"Four Seasons offers a full range of leisure and business facilities to ensure that the guest leaves with a feeling of being pampered," said a hotel spokesman.
"Rooms are richly appointed with soft gold, red and green tones throughout.
Each room has king-size or European twin bed, with soft all-cotton sheets and oversized down pillows, a closet security safe, a refrigerated private bar and remote controlled television concealed in a handsome armoire.
"Every suite has a walk-in closet, video cassette player and a plain paper fax machine. All rooms and suites have a fax/modem line to accommodate business travellers' needs.
"The Spa and Wellness Center forms the basis for the ultimate sanctuary within the hotel, as it combines the concept of replenishment and renewal from a physical, mental and spiritual perspective.
"The overall feel is one where all the senses are pampered and a complete sensory experience occurs from the moment you arrive to the moment you depart, refreshed and renewed."
