Carl Stockenstrom has taken over as the new chef de cuisine at La Baie, the signature restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton Dubai.
He joins The Ritz-Carlton Dubai from the one Michellin star Tiger Restaurant in Frankfurt.
No stranger to winning awards, Carl plans to introduce his own unique culinary style to La Baie.
His new menu features French dishes with an innovative twist. His passion for using indigenous spices is evident in the dessert menu.
In addition to the a la carte menu, which Carl promises will change frequently, the degustation menu features five carefully chosen courses created especially for the connoisseur.
With 60 seats including an outdoor terrace overlooking the Arabian Gulf and a champagne bar, La Baie is intimate without being imposing.
The dŽcor is elegant with comfortable banquette seating and a combination of tables for two, four or more diners.
A selection of aperitif vinegars are a specialty of La Baie.
