The Regency InterContinental has announced the arrival of Michael Kappes, the new director of sales and marketing.
Born and raised in Germany, Michael has more than 20 years experience in the hotel industry and a significant knowledge of the Middle East with former roles at hotels in Sana'a, Muscat, Abu Dhabi and Bahrain.
"In a way, coming to Bahrain is like coming home for my family and me," explains Michael."We lived in Bahrain for three years from 1987 to 1990 and our youngest son was born here.
"Returning - even after so many years - has reminded me of all that this country has to offer with its warm-hearted and generous people and the many opportunities for growth and development in business."
