Fast rent a Car is continuing to expand its services by opening up new locations and enlarging its fleet each year. Over the last seven years it has expanded to 15 locations and 3000 vehicles ranging from cars, limousines, 4-wheel drives, pick-ups, vans and buses seating from seven to 65 passengers.
Fast provides total transportation solutions to fulfill each customer's needs and requirements according to Ahmed Abood, general manager of the company. "Customers can choose from any of our comprehensive range of services such as daily and weekly car rentals, commercial vehicle rentals, short or long term leases, delivery and collection services, chauffeur services provided with uniformed and multi-lingual professionals, limousine and bussing services. We also have 24 hours service at Abu Dhabi and Dubai International Airport Arrivals." He says, "each service is specifically designed to make your rental experience as affordable, enjoyable and easy as possible. And it's also added up to one of the lowest customer complaint ratios in the business."
According to Abood, in order to achieve full customer satisfaction, all the members of the Fast team believe and practice quality. "From inception, all processes and systems were structured to make them effective, efficient and customer friendly. Later, with the advent of latest advances in Technological Tools and IT, FAST took the natural course of incorporating technology in its business."
Fast obtained an ISO 9002 certification in June 26, 2001. Currently, the quality management system is being reviewed and updated for upgrading to the ISO 9000:2000 version. Simultaneously, Fast is in the process of benchmarking its strategies, policies, procedures and systems, as a part of Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award application.
Fast intends to submit its application to the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award office in early 2003 to initiate an ongoing culture of improvement.
