Grand Hyatt Dubai has appointed a team of culinary professionals to direct and support the city conference resort's food and beverage operation, which will incorporate 14 outlets, 20 kitchens and over 350 staff.
At the helm is executive assistant manager - Food and Beverage, Gilles Charlet.
Executive chef Max Burkhalter, has also been appointed. The two have over 45 years experience in the hospitality industry between them.
A graduate of the Ecole Hôtelières de Lausanne, Gilles held several senior food and beverage roles at hotels in Europe and Asia before joining Hyatt Regency Dubai as executive assistant manager - Food and Beverage in 1998, a position he held until joining Grand Hyatt Dubai.
