Hertz UAE, which operates nine car rental branches across the emirates, has appointed Bob Farrow to the position of general manager. Farrow brings 26 years of area experience in general sales and operational management to Al-Futtaim Sons, the Hertz franchisee in the UAE.
* Six Senses has announced the appointment of Evangeline A Imperial as director of sales and marketing for the Evason brand. Evangeline will be responsible for directing and strategizing the sales and marketing activities, including reservations systems, revenue management, loyalty initiatives and media activity for trade and consumer markets.
* Mohamed Mostafa Abdallah has been appointed regional revenue manager for Hilton International Egypt and Sudan, reporting to Azza Serry, regional director of Business Development, Egypt, Sudan, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan. In his new task Mohamed will over see the ART team in charge of rate loading.
* Muizz Uddin Ahmed has joined Pakistan International Airways (PIA) as country manager, Bahrain. He has an MBA from the US and joined PIA as human resources officer. He also worked in different capacities in the marketing department.
* Lorey Heynike has been appointed public relations manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai The arrival of South African-born Heynike completes the young and energetic Public Relations partnership between The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai and The Ritz-Carlton, Doha.
