Grand Hyatt Dubai has announced the formation of highly specialised sales and conference teams at the hotel, as part of their pre-opening strategy to attract international and regional audiences. The hotel has also appointed senior staff members to head these teams.
Grand Hyatt Dubai's sales team will be headed by Markus Mueller, newly appointed director of sales, who will help the hotel in developing, implementing, maximising and monitoring various sales functions, securing new accounts and developing these accounts into profitable business for the hotel.
Mueller, who has over eight years of experience gained in Germany and Vienna, has undergone specialised training in tele-marketing, new sales strategies, yield management, and category sales.
He has also worked with various international feeder markets such as Germany, USA, UK, France, Italy, Turkey and Scandinavia. In his last position, he was director of sales and marketing at the Dorint Don Giovanni in Prague.
Grand Hyatt Dubai Conference Sales, headed by Steffen Keller, director of conference sales and conventions, will actively spearhead the movement to position Grand Hyatt Dubai as a leading global destination for conferences, conventions, incentives and meetings. Towards achieving this objective, the conference sales team will aim to publicise the many advantages offered by Grand Hyatt Dubai, on an international platform.
