Gulf Air has appointed Abdulla Al Shawoosh as cargo manager, UAE, and has announced a year-on-year increase in cargo uplift for the period January-June 2002.
Reporting directly to UAE general manager, Mahfood Al Harthy, Al Shawoosh is responsible for overseeing the servicing of the UAE cargo market, a position which also incorporates his previous role as cargo sales manager for Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
Al Shawoosh has worked with Gulf Air for 17 years.
"Al Shawoosh's in-depth knowledge of this market and his breadth of experience are vital to understanding our customers and addressing their specific needs," said Al Harthy.
"This strategic appointment increases our focus on the UAE and will assist in streamlining processes and providing the most efficient and effective service for our cargo customers."
