Malaysian Airlines has promoted Shaz Peshiman to sales and marketing manager, UAE and the Gulf as part of its move to further consolidate and build its regional market position.
Shaz has been with the airline in Dubai since 1990 and has served in various positions in customer services, sales and marketing.
''We have been consolidating various activities to reinforce our strategic position in the region, since my arrival a year ago and Shaz' appointment is an integral part of our overall plans', said Sabarudin Ismail, area manager Middle East.
As sales and marketing manager of the airline, Shaz will cover the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman.
