The Cham group of Syria will be highlighting the full spectrum of travel services it provides visitors at this month's MTF.
The fully integrated group includes Cham Palaces and Hotels, Chamtour and Chamcar which between them can offer services ranging from accommodation to cars to qualified multilingual guides.
Cham Palaces and Hotels has 13 hotels spread across Syria and includes the Badia Cham Hotel in Deir Ezzor, its newest property as well as the Cham Golf and Country Club and the Ebla Cham Palace. Sixteen more hotels are to open in Syria, Lebanon, UAE, Jordan and Iraq.
Most of the hotels provide extensive leisure and business facilities including conference and banquet rooms specifically targeting the meetings and incentives sector.
The group also includes Chamtour which handles corporate meetings and incentive programs and Chamcar, the Hertz franchisee in Syria.
Chamtour is the inbound tour operator which has a fleet of 100 Pullman de-luxe Renault buses and highly qualified multilingual guides while Chamcar features over 1,000 brand new Ford or Renault cars with or without chauffeur.
"The company can therefore offer any travel agency, meeting specialist or incentive organiser a spectrum of services second to none," said Jacques Lemarchand, Chamtour deputy manager for Europe and USA.
"In a more and more competitive world, where clients are looking for a global service, Cham Palaces & Hotels is able to tailor make packages for any venue or tour throughout Syria since our properties are all at prime locations close to the major archaeological sites or downtown areas of key cities.
"This is definitely a 'plus' that we shall stress to our customers in Cairo.
"Our brand new 18-hole golf course in Damascus, the Cham Country Club, rated by experts as one of the best in the Middle East and Asia, will be another key selling point in Cairo."
Lemarchand said the company's strength can "be fully adapted to the needs of the most demanding clients."
