Kamar Soubra has been named as the new rooms division manager at the Gefinor Rotana Hotel in Beirut.
Of Lebanese origin, Soubra comes to Gefinor Rotana from the Holiday Inn Bur Dubai and brings eight years of experience in the industry to the hotel.
Soubra, 37, graduated from Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, Switzerland in 1992 and began his career at the Holiday Inn Paris Velizy as night auditor before being promoted as assistant front office manager.
In 1996, he moved to Beirut as the front office coordinator at Le Vendome Inter-Continental where he was later promoted as front office and quality manager.
He joined the opening team at Holiday Inn Bur Dubai in 2001.
Meanwhile, Georges Kamar has been promoted to assistant financial controller at the hotel.
Also of Lebanese origin, 27-year-old Kamar has been working at the hotel for the past two years as financial accountant.
