PR Elena Mendez has been appointed director of public relations for the four Sheraton hotels in Dubai.
She was previously director of public relations at the Sheraton Dubai Hotel and Towers, having joined the hotel in 1995 as a sales executive. The Spanish national has been with the Sheraton group in Europe and the Middle East since qualifying from the Les Roches Hotel Management School, in Switzerland. While at the Sheraton Dubai Hotel and Towers, Mendez was responsible for the launch - and later the relaunch - of the highly popular Vivaldi and Ashiana restaurants
