Dubai Peter Mainguy is the new director of sales and marketing at the Ritz-Carlton, Dubai.
Mainguy, a Canadian, brings 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry, 10 of which have been dedicated to the field of sales and marketing in the Middle East.
After two and a half years as director of sales for Sheraton in Abu Dubai. Peter went on to open three hotels in succession, starting with The Royal Meridien in Bahrain.
Four years later he rose to the challenge for Conrad International in Egypt with their opening in Cairo, followed by three years as the opening director of sales and marketing for Sun International at the Royal Mirage in Dubai.
While some may recognise him from many a desert rally podium, Mainguy may more often be seen in the most intimate luxury hotel, The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai, part of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company LLC which was recently voted 'Best Business Hotel Group' by Business Travel World of the UK and winner of the prestigious 2001 Dubai Quality Award for Service.
