Culinary masters at The Ritz-Carlton Dubai will take to the Dubai airwaves in a new radio show every Thursday.
"Putting on the Ritz!" will be broadcast on 90.5 Emirates Radio 2 from 10am to noon and will be hosted by Tania Burgess and Shroeder Evans, a hotel statement said. The presenters will discuss a general topic of the week and listeners will be invited to call in to participate in the discussion, nominate a topic of interest for a future show, or to win a host of spectacular prizes from The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai. Executive chef Viktor Stampfer, executive sous chef Yves Samake, chef de cuisine The Gallery at La Baie Carl Stockenstrom, pastry chef Volker and Italian chef Massimo of Splendido will touch heavily on culinary capers. The line up of German, French, Swiss, South African and Italian nationalities, not to mention two New Zealand born presenters, and Fabrice Ducry, the assistant director of food & beverage, will guarantee an extremely varied view on life in the kitchen, the hotel said. In addition to the weekly competition, listeners will be invited to call and challenge the chefs with "five things in my fridge".
