The luxury Le Jardin de Fleur development, part of the 2.5 billion euro Mediterrania-Saïdia project on the northeast coast of Morocco, is seeing construction work accelerate with the official approval of the Moroccan Tourism Authorities.

In addition to the 500 properties which Le Jardin de Fleur is due to deliver in early 2009, the Moroccan Authorities have this month granted building licenses for a further eight Le Jardin de Fleur developments. These additional residences ensure that the reputable developer maintains a high level and variety of quality resort vacation options in this government backed coastal resort

The lavish Mediterrania-Saïdia project, which will occupy 700 hectares, will comprise 10 four and five star hotels (17,000 beds) managed by leading chains and more than 3,000 residential and tourist villas, apartments and townhouses. The 11 luxury boutique resorts developed under the Le Jardin de Fleur brand enjoy prime locations within the destination and now total 1,337 touristic properties (more than 5,000 beds).

The three 18 hole golf courses will offer championship level golf with superb sea and mountain views. The Mediterrania-Saïdia resort will also feature a 1,000 berth leisure marina (the largest in the Mediterranean) a nautical centre, yacht club, multiple restaurants and bars in the harbour, a medina and commercial centre with 500 retail outlets and designer brands, spas, sports complex and a health centre.

The project is located in the Berkane province of Morocco, five minutes from Saïdia, a popular tourist resort and fishing village just 40 minutes from Oujda international airport, three hours (300 km) north of Fez. Bordered by the Mouloya river and a nature reserve, this resort stretches over six kilometers of pristine beaches.

Le Jardin de Fleur’s prime property contributions introduce a brand new concept in luxury holiday accommodation. The international developer behind the project, Property Logic, is joining forces with leading international and boutique hotel brands to create 11 individually designed resorts offering luxury villas with pools, spacious apartments and beachfront hotel condominiums.

The resorts will feature Moroccan clubhouses, multiple themed restaurants, bars, outdoor and indoor pools, lagoons and gardens, kids clubs and entertainment menus, spas, fitness centres, beach club and a wide variety of on-site sports facilities. In addition there will be convention and banqueting facilities, a 1,500 sq m spa and wellness centre and an exclusive beach club.

Property Logic, which specialises in developing high end luxury resorts in some of the world’s finest emerging tourism destinations, will be responsible for building most of the tourist properties in Mediterrania-Saïdia with a total land value of 65 million euros.

The company has signed management contracts with Radisson, Best Western Premier and Hivernage and is in the process of signing more contracts with both domestic and international luxury chains for the remainder of its Le Jardin de Fleur resorts (to be announced this year).
