Marriott’s three
Sharm El Sheikh Marriott situated on the promenade of Sharm El Sheikh is near the centre of the popular Neama Bay where visitors will find many shops, international restaurants and bars such as Hard Rock Café, Pacha and Little Buddha Bar.
The property is 15 minutes away from the airport. It consists of two buildings on three floors, with the beach side building featuring 216 guest rooms including 10 suites, while the back side of the building features 304 guest rooms including seven suites. Rooms have a private terrace or balcony with either garden, pool or sea views.
Restaurants and bars offer a diverse selection of dining options varying from international, Teppanyaki, sushi, Italian, seafood and barbecue. Snacks, cocktails and pastries are also available.
There are also three outdoor swimming pools, one of which is seasonally heated, and a fully equipped health club with gymnasium, sauna and massage facilities.
The private island resort of Hurghada Marriott is strategically positioned and offers guests privacy. In addition they can even swim from beach to beach. The property is seven minutes drive from the airport. International outlets include Hard Rock Café and Papas Bar operated by the Ministry of Sound, plus the Calypso, Dutch Bar, Black Horse Club and Bonanza outlets. The resort features 283 sea view guest rooms including 14 suites on six floors with four lifts to suit all guests’ needs. Some rooms have a private balcony. Elite floor rooms are available for an extra supplement. Two outdoor swimming pools, one of which is seasonally heated and a health club is also available, along with two outdoor floodlight tennis courts and two air conditioned squash courts.

A 2,800 sq m swimming pool (with a heated section in winter) is a feature along with a water slide and jacuzzi.
All properties have fully equipped rooms featuring individually controlled air-conditioning, high speed internet access, remote control TV with satellite channels, direct dial telephone with voice mail, data port, hairdryer, free in-room safe deposit box, electronic door lock, smoke detectors, sprinklers, life safety system and mini-bar. Non smoking rooms, connecting rooms and easy access rooms are also available, and the resorts cater for the disabled.
Bedouin and Pharaonic nights can be organised subject to the hotel’s occupancy and guest’s request. For recreation, there is a multi-lingual team who can prepare activities such as aerobics, beach games, dancing to live bands and nightly entertainment shows.
There is also a private beach, a separate children’s pool and a free kids’club available and all water sports are available.
During Marriott International’s annual business council’s conference held at Bethesda Marriott, USA, last June, the Egypt Business Council consisting of JW Marriott Hotel Cairo, Cairo Marriott Hotel, Sharm El Sheikh Marriott Resort, Hurghada Marriott Beach Resort, Taba Marriott Beach Resort, Renaissance Alexandria Hotel & Renaissance Golden View Beach Resort, Sharm El Sheikh, were presented with the award of Outstanding Performance in Culture for the year 2007.
The award was presented by the group as recognition and appreciation of the Egypt Business Council’s hotels planning and hard work put into maintaining superior guest service and serving the community.
