The Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the fastest growing hotel companies in the world, announced recently that the doors of its new property in Jordan – the Radisson SAS Bay Resort, Aqaba - have now been opened.
The new resort, owned by Shatea Al-Kamar for Tourism Investment, is located on the shores of the Aqaba Gulf in the southern part of Jordan. It offers a total of 336 standard, deluxe and superior rooms as well as junior and executive suites. Rooms offering inter-connecting doors, non-smoking and with specially designed details for disabled guests are also available. All the rooms have their own balconies and are decorated in modern style.
The overall layout of the resort is designed to make it resemble a modern village with light yellow exteriors colours, abundant green areas with lush palm trees as well as numerous arches and pathways.
Food and beverage outlets include the all day dining Aziab restaurant with international cuisine and a live cooking station; Heatwave, an outdoor modern restaurant serving Mediterranean dishes, the indoor Kenzi lounge; the Dugout Bar in the pool and the open air Baywatch outlet providing self service snacks and a variety of cold drinks. There is also the Sunset Deck serving grilled food and offering guests traditional shisha.
