Michael Payne, general manager of the resort, was in Dubai recently to familiarise the resort to the travel trade and in particular to promote the hotel’s current one for five night summer indulgence packages ideal for Middle Eastern guests.
The package includes one additional complimentary night with every five paid nights. Guests also get daily breakfast and complimentary dinner at Reethi Restaurant for two persons for the entire stay (excluding beverages). Beach villa rates start from $780 per room per night, and the offer is subject to availability and applicable to beach villa, beach villa with pool, and water villa for stays until October 15, 2008.
All prices are subject to 10 per cent service charge and Maldivian bed tax of $8 per person per night applies to complimentary nights. For the five paid night stay, guests receive a maximum of one additional complimentary night. The offer is only applicable for two persons and additional supplement charges apply.
Activites at the resort include tennis, water sports, scuba diving, excursions in the resort’s yachts or sunbathing on any of its 12 white sand beaches. There is also the One&Only Spa, by ESPA, which covers 9,500 sq m and comprises eight single treatment villas, two double over water treatment suites, a reception lounge with boutique, hair salon, yoga and relaxation facilities, separate rest areas for men and women, a fitness centre, a podiatry and pedicure clinic, crystal steam rooms and ice fountains.
