Inaugural Dubai Business Travel show set for October

The Travel Show will be a forum of learning for trade

The Business Travel Show Dubai will be held from October 29 to 30, at the Madinat Jumeriah Arena.

As a joint venture agreement between Centaur Exhibitions and Dnata World of Events Dubai, the show will be the leading event for everyone who buys or manages company travel or books business trips, sources meeting venues over the internet, by phone or through an agent.
The Business Travel Show aims to provide practical and independent advice, up to date information, and is a forum for learning.
Visitors will have the opportunity to discover what’s new in the industry, to meet with online and travel suppliers, as well as obtain independent professional advice and discover cost and time saving methods of approaching the business of business travel. In addition, the show will provide the perfect forum for business travel buyers and bookers to network and develop successful relationships with each other and travel suppliers.
The show is set to become a yearly event in Dubai.
Dnata, Jumeirah, Emirates and British Airways are founding partners for the debut event in Dubai, along with the show sponsor - Al Shamel, Qatar Airways are the gold sponsor and Air Arabia is the silver sponsor. Key industry partners already present include HRG and Radius, with companies exhibiting including Austrian Airlines, National Air Service, Virgin Atlantic, International Air Charter, Jebel Ali International, Cabot, Air France/ KLM, Hilton, Premier Travel Inn, FCM, Lufthansa, Accor, Intercontinental Hotels Group, Etihad, Hertz, Chelsea Group, BCD Travel and Cathay Pacific.
The event will also deliver an informative Educational Programme in association with The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE), the shows education partner. These sessions will provide advice on booking and purchasing business travel more effectively - from how to maximise your current travel spend, to assessing the benefits of online booking and understanding the impact of low cost hotel and flight options – in summary development of a successful travel management policy. Visitors pre-booking educational sessions will save Dh100 per session and receive a free gift.
Visitors to the show will include corporate travel managers or travel buyers, directors who sets business travel budgets and policies, managers who buy business travel services, PA or office managers who book travel and travel agents responsible for business travel.
