BAHRAIN’S The Palace, formerly Palace Inn, has completed the first phase of its renovation programme, offering a totally new look and feel.
The Palace, one of the oldest hotels in the kingdom, will be completely redeveloped in stages over a two-year period, said Khalid Al Rumaihi, managing director.
The hotel, which offers four-star services, is located just minutes from cafes, restaurants and shops in Adliya.
As part of the first phase, 20 rooms and the lobby were completely refurbished giving the hotel a very different look.
“This is the first boutique hotel in the kingdom and we aim at excellence in service,” he said.
The newly refurbished rooms offer state-of-the-art features with modern designer fittings in bathrooms.
The hotel will be part of the new tourist enclave that the government plans to develop in the Adliya area, continues Al Rumaihi.
“The Palace believes that Bahrain’s tourism industry can only be taken to the next level by providing quality, while still offering good value for money,” he said.
As part of the second phase of the renovation, the old block of the hotel will be demolished to create a brand new 60-80 room property.
“We also plan to landscape the whole area and create a garden, providing customers a unique experience,” Al Rumaihi said.
The Palace is also home to some of the most popular restaurants and nightclubs in Bahrain, including Hot City, Garfields, Nakheel Café, Anchorage, Slammers and Al Basha.
