New deal to serve Riyadh-Kathmandu route

A new code share alliance between Gulf Air and Saudi Arabian Airlines will see the launch of new services on the Riyadh-Kathmandu sector via Bahrain International Airport.

The flights will begin April 16.
The two carriers will have 41 flights a week per direction operated together with the addition of the new Riyadh – Bahrain - Kathmandu services and the two carriers will have 41 flights a week per direction operated together with the addition of the new Riyadh-Bahrain-Kathmandu services.
The two carriers have discussed the many opportunities to further expand both their code share network as well as other possible areas of cooperation such as their frequent flyer programmes, IT and Cargo.
Gulf Air and Saudi Arabian Airlines signed their first code share agreement in 2003.
