Allied Pacific Investment Limited (API) was recently awarded the license to operate the first pay-in lounge at the Hong Kong International Airport named Plaza Premium Lounge.
With an investment of over HK$10 million (US$1.3 million), the spacious and articulately designed lounge has a seating capacity of 200 passengers. It provides the highest standard of service and comprises of four sections - the Business area, Leisure area, Buffet section and the latest addition, the Napping area. Plaza Premium Lounge covers more than 500 square metres of space on the 7th level of West Hall Concourse. Each section is carefully designed to serve busy travellers passing through Hong Kong International Airport. The Business area provides easy access to travellers who wish to work on their notebook computer and conduct last minute business transaction while waiting to board or onward flight by simply plugging on to our high speed line while charging their mobile phone and laptop. Six computer stations are available for those who wish to access to Internet and e-mail. The Leisure area is where passengers may sit around and enjoy the full view of the runway while leisurely reading international magazines and newspapers. There is also equipment with a CD selection for music lovers. There is a TV corner where passengers may watch various entertainment channels and latest DVD movies. The main buffet counter caters mainly to Asian & Western taste. The recently launched "Aromatic Napping Area" is a functional private room approximately 800 sq. ft. equipped with eight high-tech massage chairs providing total relaxation to long haul flight passengers. Passengers may book the use of Napping area where they may rest and sleep for a maximum of 4 hours without any interruption. Blankets and socks are given upon request.
