WITH the Sultanate of Oman recently voted the destination for 2006 by luxury lifestyle magazine Condé-Nast Traveller, car rental agency Thrifty has announced details of its promotional summer offers.
Until July 15, travellers who lease a vehicle from the Oman page of the Thrifty website (www.thrifty.com) will receive a 10 per cent discount on economy, compact, mid-size and full-size cars. Those wishing to explore the country’s famous mountainous and desert terrain will benefit from a discount of 20 per cent upon renting a full-size SUV (4X4) vehicle.
Thrifty Car Rental has also recently announced a significant enhancement of their rental fleet, which now features a full line of vehicles, including Honda City, Toyota Corolla, Mazda 6, Honda Accord, Mitsubishi Magna, Toyota Prado, Nissan Patrol and Toyota Landcruiser, all of which will be accessible to visitors to Oman.
