THE Leading Hotels of the World alliance of premium hotels will launch a new publication this month, aimed at enhancing its marketing and reservation service for Arabic guests.
An A4 glossy magazine-style directory, Travel & Lifestyle will provide details in Arabic of around 120 member hotels and resorts, allocating one page for each property with details of its rooms and suites, restaurants, spa and other leisure facilities, as well as nearby shopping, tours and sights.
Michael Lutze, regional director of sales for Leading Hotels in the Middle East, says interest in participating in the directory has been ‘overwhelming’. “We originally estimated that perhaps 15 per cent of our 427 member hotels would target the Middle East for business, but demand was well beyond our expectation as both resorts and city hotels in Europe, Asia and the United States seek to exploit the potential of this thriving market. Hotels will also receive a PDF copy of their page so they can use this Arabic translation for their own promotional purposes.”
Circulation of Travel & Lifestyle will be through the top travel agents regionally as well as at airport lounges and member hotels, and agents can order additional copies through the Leading Hotels regional office in Dubai.
