Emirates Dubai Stopover package available on arrival

Emirates … offering passengers greater flexibility

The Emirates Dubai Stopover packages, which had to be pre-booked previously, can now be booked on arrival at Dubai International Airport from the Emirates services desk in the arrivals hall.

This allows customers a greater flexibility and the opportunity to benefit from a stopover package in Dubai, should they have any last minute changes to their travel itineraries.
The packages have been recently enhanced to provide even more offers and value-for-money offers and lets customers choose from an expanded range of hotels and hotel apartments in the city and on the beach. Valid till October 31, 2006, the packages include buffet breakfast, a 96-hour visa for transit passengers, transfers between Dubai International Airport and the chosen hotel.
Emirates also offers after-office emergency assistance to passengers. Speaking at the launch of the revamped packages, Ghaith Al Ghaith, executive vice-president commercial operations worldwide at Emirates, said: “Emirates’ Dubai Stopover programme has been one of our biggest successes as the value-for-money packages have been attracting an increasing number of customers to take up the stopover option each year. We now expect even more travellers to avail of these offers with the new flexibility of booking, when they arrive in Dubai.”
The packages are available worldwide to all passengers regardless of class of travel. Passengers travelling via Dubai may take the packages on either the inbound or the outbound leg of their journey, or both, provided one sector of travel is on Emirates airline.
